Yes do it,
generally petrol injectors are around 14 Ohms resistance, so they draw 1A or 14Watts at max flow... so with a side light bulb you will be safe and not damage anything,
just a thought... does the pipe to the injector need to be bled? I'm noit up on deisils but worth looking into.

I think there needs to be some wire chasing back to the ECU.
You can make up a simple test circuit using the LED bulb.
Remember the LED only works one way

I agree mate, if there's no power to the injector, but there is to others it needs chased back to the ECU

Yes, black plastic tubes that link the top of each injector to each other and back to the pump
