Hello, so l need a little information, underneath the oil pressure control port on the front of the engine appears to be either something that had broken off, or quite simply a plug of sorts, can anyone help me identify please???  image.jpg   31.34K   72 downloads

It's a rivet that closes an oil drilling, there's one on the bottom of the head too.

The rivets and wiggle pin in the clutch housing do look like bodges, I can't think of another maker that uses pop rivets in an engine, but they have worked for decades.
