Don't forget, that different cameras will make the colour look different. Plus it also can depend on how accurately the colour has been mixed and also what it has been painted onto.

I am very meticulous when it comes to colour, one shade darker and I would be unhappy!

You could have a chat with someone who has a grey you like and ask them what colour primer they put on under the top coat and where they had the paint mixed.

 

You may also be able to arrange to go and see someone's mini in the flesh to get a proper idea what they colour looks like.

Yeah it's amazing how much the colour changes in different lights, it looks quite green there but out in the sun it is grey 😊

you could take a photo of the same car on five different days and you would have five different colours if the camera doesn't white balance properly.
