Busy day at Mini's on the Rec. Numerous Mini's and a cornucopia of other classic and not so classic cars.

Was a brilliant day.. Thunder and all!
Sat in the sweltering temperatures with a glass of Pimms with the Dorset Mini Club crew!
Some nice minis and some nice imports.. for me the old skool skyline GTR had me drooling!
That GTR was cracking and much needed. Only a tad jealous. Mmm got rained on going home and Paddy wondered what the hell it was.

It was my first time at this show (Jason had been before) and I really enjoyed it. A good mix of cars and some interesting Minis. It was also good to meet Neil in the flesh and have Paddy and Paddy next to each other.

Got tucked away a bit at the back plus there was a large gazebo in front. Bit of a bummer really as we got split up as well. Next time we will meet up before hand to get there as a group. Still it was a good day overall, just got to cope with my sunburnt swede and Panda eyes

You were parked next to us on the NSMOC stand. Paddy and Paddy looked stunning.
I have to ask about the complete 90° bonnet hinges - I have starting planning to make my own for college project next year, could you give me some info?

I bought them from minivation and they are their latest upgraded hinges and these do not need to have any holes drilled to fit them. Take a little getting used to but work really well. Not cheap but they were doing a discounted group buy.

Yes - it would have been hard to find a more hidden spot! Oh well, at least it was easy for me to find the stand, even if it was pure luck!
