Whip the drums and see if its collecting there, check all the lines to see if they look damp. And if you have a servo, check for white smoke out the exhaust, then check the vacuum tube for fluid.
drums i took of yesterday and they were fine just full of dust :) all the lines seem dry (bit oily and muddy i need to clean them one day) but no break fluid i haven't seen any white smoke and there isn't any when it starts up and where is the vaccum tube and how do i check?

check your carpets, if the master is leaking inside the car.

The vacuum tube will go from the carb/ manifold to the servo. Its usually a thin tube made of hard plastic with fatter rubber ends on. If the diaphragm in the servo breaks down, brake fluid can be sucked into the engine and burned.
nope not that :/

If you replace a master cylinder, try to bench bleed it before fitting. Works on old mustangs

take the rear drums off and inspect the brake cylinders. lift the rubber gaitors to check for leaking fluid.

I'd be seconding the possibility of the MC leaking into the Servo. You might not be getting any white smoke yet because it hasn't full up the servo enough yet to reach the vac pipes. It happened me before.

Yep, I'll second this. I had a loss of fluid on my Mini and kept topping it up until I found the Servo to be 1/4 full of the stuff.
