What causes the problem is that no one ever changes their brake fluid!

 

Back in the day we used to hone the cylinders out lightly with a fine hone.....as long as there were no pits and all you were doing was breaking the glaze. .I have also seen many of the "tin cans" that had pinholes in them. Today I just buy a new master....

.I have also seen many of the "tin cans" that had pinholes in them.

I have  "Got many people home"   with a blob of solder on a pinhole in a master cylinder.
