Sadly I can't keep them all so this one has to go.

This is a very original 1975 Mini 1000 in harvest gold. It was taken off the road in 2000 park parked in the lady owners garage until April of this year.

Since acquiring it I have changed the oil, fitted a new oil filter and dissy cap and he now runs like a top. The clutch slave cylinder was rebuilt as it was the seized and the clutch hose was replaced along with 3 of the front wheel cylinders. I also replaced all 4 perished rubber brakes hoses with Goodridge braided lines for a little more piece of mind.

With this work done he flew straight through his first MOT in 14 years with no advisories.

The original navy blue vinyl interior is still present and in very good condition baring a rip on the base of each front seat. The headlining is also in fantastic nick considering it's age and shows very little discolouration if any The original giant steering wheel is still in place as are the Kangol reflex front seat belts which where probably fitted at the dealer. The only modification to the car (if you can call it one) is the period slip on headrest on the drivers seat.

The exterior of the car is in very good order as you'd expect from 14 years indoors. Altogether it's a very straight little car only being owned owned by ladies until now. The term never raced or rallied certainly applies here. It's a lovely little car to cruise about in and although the 998 wont sent any land speed records still pretty peppy and a lovely simple car to drive.

It was registered on January 1st 1975 meaning it will be tax exempt this coming January. The car is sold with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax to carry it through to its exemption.

I'm looking for £2900 ono. The car is in Newton Abbot, Devon, please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

There are some more pictures of the car here. Clicky
