And this is the steering wheel that started it all!
Brought this at Beaulie, before i had a mini!

Plans for the mini so far....

Get rid of all of the rust!
Fit once piece Clubman flip front ( will be asking lots of questions on how to do this cause neither of us know how to do it D: )
Looking into what other seats will fit in the mini including the back seat so that it all matches
I REALLY WANT THE TARTAN INTERIOR! if anyone would like to donate i would be happy to take it off your hands :D ( I'm an apprentice! moneys tight :( )

Started stripping out the interior today!
Will get some pics up tomorrow of all the lovely rust holes!

Looks like a good start! With regards to the seats, there is a thread on here on what other seats fit in Minis. All require modifications to the mounting subframe but nothing to difficult

well you've seen the good views of her mini..now its time all the wonderful tin worm bits :D it's not to bad really from what i've seen so far inner and outer sills both sides..drives side fitch pass front floor pan..and scuttle both ends..gonna replace both a panels cause they're starting to bubble..the back end all seems pretty solid so far even the boot floor looks pretty solid..but it's a mini so i'm sure we'll find more that needs doing once we get it all stripped..

You will need the whole seat out as some if the spot welds are on its edge

You don't have to take the seat pan out. However if the bins are being replaced then cut the bin out as far as possible. Then you can remove the spot welds on the B pillar and the return on the heelboard and the floor.

The heelboard to inner sill reinforcement bracket will be a pain to do but with the outer sill off and bin out access will be that much easier to do.

And thems ain't slippers, more like flippers. lol!!
