Yep. Pretty tempted to get one as a tow car. Even the standard T5 is like 230bhp and seriously torquey. The R does seem a bit more sought after now, but even those are cheap for what they are. BWWWAAAAARRRRP.

Just need to find an estate one now.

One of the lads at work has the R estate and his has got some rocket ship mileage on it. Still looks good though and he loves it.

Se6 gte, I've had that nearly 3 years as a project, just can't be bothered with it or find the time for it. I bought it as a non runner, the timing gear had disintegrated, so I took the heads off, rebuilt them, replaced a few valves, put a new updated steel timing gear on, got it running sweet, painted the engine bay up nice, then decided to retrim the interior, stripped it out, and that's kinda how it's been left sat for about 2 years. Someone did give me a deposit on it last year, but never came back to collect it, so I pocketed the £500 deposit, I did try contacting him several times.

Might look at doing a couple of days on it when I get back from Thailand (can't wait! Really looking forward to it!) if I don't get any paying work to do.

I helped my Dad do up a 5A that he'd been given (probably 25 years ago now).

I've always had a secret soft spot for them since then.  You used to be able to buy some MAD kit cars based on their chassis.

I used to be really into cars, but then I got my fiesta and started going out drinking, and things like that, and just kind of lost interest in the cars, especially doing cars for a living, the last thing I fancy doing at the weekend or evenings is cars.

Finished work early, so off to the gym for a session, then I'm helping a friend do some tiling at about 3 o'clock  just going to try and do as much work as I can and avoid turning any away. Trouble is, I want to spend as much time with her as possible before she goes this weekend, there's just not enough hours in a day! I'm going to need a bit of money stashed away for when I come back from Thailand too, just incase I don't have any work to do, rather than selling my fiesta. Got the mk1 punto which I'm going to clean up and get advertised at the weekend, that's a bit of money there. flights paid for now  I've still got to work 12 days 8-6 at work to repay my 2 weeks advance and holiday >_< knew I'd get screwed over there >_<

I like a car that I can have a conversation in on the motorway, one that's quiet and starts every time with a heater and a/c  I like my creature comforts
