Had a mental couple of days doing stuff for the car and all in aid of my new wheels! Puncture repairs, wheel balancing, suspension pump ups and all manor of things Spent a while measuring and excanging wheel studs for Ford ones, and decided I needed 73mm wheel studs which is a pretty big extension on standard... but then figured I need special wheel sleeved nuts for my new wheels so £44 later (on wheel nuts!!) I have a set.
Swapped my 13''s with Jon so that Molly had some decent rubber to get by on in her Tro, and even took Jon out in Rita! Something was knocking as I drove home from work (only noticed AFTER the 50mph section), pulled over, checked everything over, to realise that my drivers side front wheel was barely even nipped up let alone tightened... cheers Jon! Totally blaming you for that... on the other hand as I pulled into the petrol station I found a fiver on the floor, so generally peril aside, I was onto a winner!
