UPDATE
after having a rear brake hose burst the other day, I pulled the trigger on all new braided brake hoses, a new proportioning valve, all new rear drum hardware, and a front disc brake conversion.
It will still be a few weeks until it'll all be installed.

Brake fade on several occasions, left me with my heart in my mouth in my 1100 clubby many years ago.
they were also always either off or on and locked up.
Wish id kept it.

Cool. Looking good. Are you pleased with the upgrade?

Absolutely. Performs as well as I hoped it would.
The only thing is the disc brake set make the front wheels stick out from the flares about 1 inch wider than the drums in the rear. Going to need some spacers.

Get some of the proper spacer drums and some longer wheel studs and you'll be sweet!
