Hi all

 

I'm starting a new thread as my previous build stopped to make way for my Pickup, Jim.

I'm going to use most of the nice stuff I bought for my other car on Jim as its going to look wicked on a pickup!!! 

 

So lets hit the ground running with some pictures of the progress so far...

 

 

 

I Had to remove the front-end for two reasons:

1. I've got a sweet moulded front-end already. 

2. My mate Willy wanted the steel grill section of the old front end for his pickup.

 

 

 

New sub-frame in and it looks like the shell is strait.. did not know those existed anymore!!!

 

 

Test fit the front end and all looks well.

@BIGCVH , The plan is a total strip down and rebuild with some toys added on during the build. I will add some pictures of the toys I already have.

@muk  . Hi Muk, Its been a while but as you can see some things have changed and some (Parts) have stayed the same.

 

@scrumpix . I struggle with long names... And I think a pickup is more of a boy than a girl.

 

Back to the mini. To give you guys an idea, ill be aiming for something like the below picture for my pickup, just done with Rover sport pack wheels and battleship grey gloss paintjob.
