Hi

Time to sell my ZS, I have a 75 mile daily commute so have purchased a ZR td.

I have owned this one for about 18 months, it flew through an MOT at the beginning of may with no advisories, there is tax currently on the car but this is not included in the price. Mileage is nearly 72000 but will increase as this is still my daily car.

I bought it as a bit of a project, it had no history and was a little tatty but I have put a lot of time and effort into it.

It has a very good spec - bodykit with spoiler, climate control, sunroof, front fogs, rear electric windows

Engine:

Completely standard 1.8 (1796cc) petrol 120 engine except it has the TF 135 cams fitted
Belt done over new year (63500 miles) along with head gasket, water pump, thermostat, oil and filter change, spark plugs, air filter

Absolutely no leaks from the engine - the back of the block and the underneath are clean and dry

The engine is the best part of the car - all jobs done and runs lovely, coolant gauge always just below half way

New battery fitted

Brakes

Both rear calipers have been replaced by me as the originals were binding. Front discs and pads are in good condition although there is a slight noise from them on light braking, will try to have a look at this as it is annoying me! rear pads are new but one disc is scored from the old caliper - still works perfectly though. Brake fluid replaced by me at new year

Bodywork

The bodywork was quite tatty when I bought it and I have done quite a bit to tidy it up, however it still requires a bit more attention to get everything looking right. I have fitted a new o/s/f wing (old on dented) and have a decent condition n/s/f wing to come with the car as the one on it is dented and doesn't line up with the bonnet (see pic). The bonnet has a little damage to the top corner (see pic). The front bumper has been repaired on the n/s (see pic) Doors have a few parking dings but nothing major. I replaced the o/s/r door as the original had a big scrape but unfortunately the paint doesn't match 100%. I have fitted a new boot lid as the original was dented, rear bumper is in good condition.

The underside of the car has been undersealed by me and looks very nice and neat. A full 5 litre tub of Tetroseal was used

Wheels and tyres

Wheels were on it when I bought it but I have resprayed the silver, they look ok from a few feet away but are tatty up close.

Tyres are budget but were fitted by me last may - tread is very good on all of them

Interior

Good condition for age - some marks here and there and to drivers bolster but not too bad. Dash panel painted black - looks good, everything works except a/c - I removed a pipe when doing the engine work and not had it gassed up again, it worked perfectly before so can be sure it just needs gas.

Stereo fitted is not included, the one from my ZR will be fitted instead

Spare wheel and unused tool kit in boot

So overall it drives really nicely, mileage is good and the engine is 100%. It looks good from a few feet but could just do with a few jobs to finish it off. Can be driven away and will do just fine for as long as you want. I have been using it for approx. 400miles a week and it has had no issues at all
