Hey guys my brakes have started to play up when I press the pedal there is nothing there, then the pedal seems to give all at once and then the brakes are on sharp , I was doing 60 earlyer and pressed on my brakes and there was practically nothing there . Its an 89 so servo'd with braided hoses any advice would be great

First off, DON'T DRIVE IT.
Sounds like a master cylinder fault or possibly the FAM7821 valve but start off with a proper inspection of everything. Check the callipers for corrosion around the pistons and general condition. Is it losing fluid?

Calipers are all sound , fluid level has dropped a little bit but I think thats due to pads wearing e.t.c to be honest it does point back to the master cylinder
