Hi all, i have got a 12G295 head. It is completely bare, has no valves or anything! I was just wondering if i can use anything from my standard head (Mini Mayfair 998cc 1990) for example the rocker gear, springs, valves???Im on a budget ( a very small one) and want to do it as cheap as possible

You should get away with using the rocker gear assuming its in good condition, however you'll definitely need new valves and I'd advise getting the right springs too.

At the same time it might be worth having the head unleaded converted (if you can afford it) as it will boost resale value.
