Ive always thought that these were pretty cool little cars and i picked this up last week...

Its actually really solid, its tax and mot exempt too so thats a bonus!

I know of someone who has a few racing A35's, he bought out an old racing team and still uses one or two of them. Great little cars

Sweet how old is it? shell don't look rusty at all so seems a great find! 

Subscribed about time some one put a old classic car thread on hear besides mini and metros :D  :thumbsup: !

It's 1957, the origional colour was like a duck egg greeny blue. It is very sold, I think it looks worse because sombody has started rubbing it down.

Lovely. Friend of mine had one as her first car. Her boyfriend rebuilt it for her and painted it BRG. Never found out what happended to it though.

I rallied one with a formula junior engine giving about 100BHP.  Suspension was Midget as were the brakes.  The little car would fish tail with the slightest provocation. O_O   Tremendously fast and so much fun I nearly died laughing. :lol:  

 

I later bought one myself with a Cooper head and twin Sus on a bored out engine mated to a Midget box: a great laugh.  I'm sorry I sold it now. :shy:

we had one many years ago spruce green was the colour, changed the front end to MG Midget bit stiffer with disc brakes.
