Out of interest, can you / should you, run a in car heater with a blanking sleeve ?  Is my memory right, that you use the pump without the by pass hose hole and bung up the the hole in the head ? This is in a 1398cc sprint car that may be road legal. One of the things we used to say was, more water and cooling area the better, sometimes we would run a heater matrix under the wing(never had a stone hole one!).
