[Island Mini]

Looking for some ideas and just like seeing what others have been up too. Anyone got some pretty twin HS2'S out there!

Here's my twin HS2s, bought for a huge £45 for the lot

 

 

I've just had them ultrasonically cleaned, and I'm in the process of rebuilding them and polishing the dashpots.

I've just started building these up.... I've deseamed the float bowls and polished them.... Almost finished polishing the manifold and painted the bodies mowog green!!!! Look kinda cool if I say so myself...

I think that's about what I paid for mine off eBay had to buy the rebuild kit for the jets and needles but other than that a steal!

Gorgeous mate, very swanky! I was too nervous to paint the bodies I thought they might get messy with fuel amd stuff but looks like you have done a solid job! What process did you use to polish?

I used a file first to smooth all the seems etc on the float bowls and manifold , then it used 240 wet and dry with washing up liquid in water...... Then I have a 4 stage polishing kit with mops etc....... Should look nice once I fit all the new linkages etc, il have em built for next weekend.....:0)
