no worries grahamm,,hey i have just turned 50 my self,,but i`m still a cheeky prat and don`t feel any older then in me 20`s,,

So you remember the days when there was no traffic on the road and you could race around to your hats content, Minis verses escorts and Capris, I once put an allegro estate engine in a Mini, it could wheel spin straight though first to forth but had a top end of 55mph but it would piss everything off on general roads and corners until I hit a straight.

If you couldn't get round an island you went over it, done that a few times and ended up snapping ball joints

My wife keeps going on at me about Remanising but I say it keeps you younger in the mind rather than become a pensioner in the garden.

Do you know what a really good thing the Internet is?? So you're going to keep this for a few years, hide it away and sell it in a few years for 25 grand. Buuut one problem. This internet bunch of ******** will all still be here in one quick google search of 1430 nos mini !! Shot yourself in the foot there!

And I bet your poor daughter is really happy that you posted a picture of her on a random forum.. Why?

If the panels were taken back to clean metal then there would be no possibility that rust would appear through the paint that quickly.
As for finding holes if you were to do a proper job with the fabrication of the replacement section and there would be no need for filler.

Impossible, please tell me of someone who can do this and he will become a wealthy man teaching others how to do this, he can definatly do mine! Weld a seem across a door, wing, front panel, boot, rear wing etc. "Dream On Mate" and paint it without the use of some kind of filler
