Hey,

I am currently looking at getting a new electronic ignition and am wondering if its worth upgrading to the full kit provided my AccuSpark or to just get the single £30 kit.

The one I am looking at is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-A-engine-59D-Electronic-Distributor-Performance-pack-ballast-ignition-/170939015942?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Plat_Gen%3AMK+I%7CModel%3AMini&hash=item27ccc26306

I was just wondering what people experiences with AccuSpark are?

I am not sure if this is the correct place or not for this so feel free to move.

Dan

I put the basic leccy module and rotor arm kit in my dizzy back in November 2012 and it's started every time since, whatever the temperature or weather. Good fuel economy, emissions etc etc. Can't speak for the full kit though. Do you need it?

Thank you for your reply, I have heard that they have good customer service.

I do not need the full kit, but mine is all miss matched and I think it would benefit from it all being replaced.

It was either this or powerspark

Benefit to getting the full kit is if your dizzy is worn or, probably as yours is, mismatched. I have the £30 kit and its top notch, much easier to start and no longer has trouble with rain.

I'm in the same boat, looking at getting the full kit as mines all mismatched, but I keep finding mixed reviews online, good to see everyone hear is Pro Accuspark (unless you're now not...?!)

You can't go wrong. It's only £20 and can be taken off if it doesn't work for you :proud:

I have had both plug in and complete dizzy. Both work brilliantly. Customer service is very good too.
