The floor was in but no sills the fit seemed to match all other panels and would have thought using heritage panel holes would line up and could be used as reference as would not have thought I would have to still new holes if this is the case I guess I have to remove the whole inner wing and scrap it due to plug welding it in

I have found over the years that quite a few new panels even gen need to be forced / persuaded into position. Maybe as you fitted the inner wing and repaired the other side before the floor fitting is the problem? Obviously there isn't much movement in the floor pan due to the crossmember as a whole so to me it must be in the inner wing areas on both sides ??
Just a thought

I had this similar problem recently when I replaced inner wing (heritage with A panel) and found that I had to persuade it to fit as Mrlan states. I also made reference of the existing door hinge plate and made a jig from the hinge holes so that the new panel would line up. i would add some pics to help explain this, but cant really see how to do this without image shack or photobucket, but let me know if you require these and i can email them to you
