if it's a fog light off another car should be fine
all Emarked for use as a fog light with the right beam pattern and bulb strength

The lamp fitted is a 50mm aftermarket fog light and is "E" marked

I bought it off eBay a while back. I think it is a Hella brand.

This is actually illegal, so don't do this.
I took my osr reversing light bulb out and fitted my fog lamp ( red bulb) in and wired it in accordingly on a fog lamp switch .
Then left a white reversing light nsr

Having the fog light in the rear cluster will not mean it'll fail an MOT, the MOT only tests that it works but does not check that it fulfils the requirements of the Road vehicles lighting regulations 1989..

The fog light needs to be a minimum of 100mm from the rear light emitting brake/stop light, while it is in the mini rear light cluster it is not, in fact it's right next to it.
