Has anyone directly compared trumpet/compressor type air horns to twin snail type horns?

Reading the specs suggests that the snail type have a slightly lower sound of about the same loudness?

I suppose the snail type being more compact are easier to fit.

Any thoughts?

I prefer the twin tone air horns. They are higher pitch, but are much louder. The sound is more 'mini' without being pathetic.

Also, just incase you didn't know, the above horn is illegal.
