I have been googling it, im still none the wiser! My mates (twins) both had Aprillia RS 125s, passed their car tests at 17 after doing their cbts at 16 yet they both had to show L plates? Or maybe then they didn't?

Yeah they would've had to keep the L-plates but for a 50cc you can lose them

Blimey really! No wonder these things are complicated, does that also mean they would need a fresh cbt after the first one ran out unless they went back to 50cc?

i had a go on my mates cg125 today when i went to my mot station, i havnt been on a road bike for nearly 2 years, i forgot how much fun it is, i didnt want to take it back.
im trying to resist looking at bikes on ebay now, i have already got a trials bike!

lets not be to quick about making a decision like that! lol
having said that, i sold my mini to buy my 125 and a kit car, wouldnt change that decision either.
