Hi was wondering which water pump would fit my mini, (1992 mini cooper 1275 spi). Mini spares has two, i am unsure.

Hi,

 

The fitting of them is the same, the only difference is the hole for the bypass hose. When I got my water pump, it had the hole for the bypass hose, but my car didn't have one so I used some chemical metal (quicksteel) and moulded it in the hole. If you look on your current one you should see if it has the bypass hose or not, if you don't have a water pumo for some reason then I would get the one with the hole and block it off if you need to. If you don't want to do this then you will have to look deeper and see if you need one with or without.

edit, or another option is to get the sealed one and drill through, but I wouldn't recommend that. Try and get the right one in the first place if I was you :)

 

Also, my car is a 94 Cooper SPi and didn't have a bypass hose if that helps :)
