My 93 Mayfair sun visors fall down on a regular basis, especially on our potholed roads.

A previous attempt at keeping them in place with stuck on velcro resulted in sticky patches on the roof and visor, but still falling down.

It causes a problem as I'm fairly tall and when it falls down, I can see about 10 yards!

I presume these are just an interference fit, but I've checked the little arms and they still have the 'cams' on them.

Anyone have a solution?

I took mine off  >_<

I have the same issue, i am 6ft 3. The way i see it is because i'm tall the top of the screen/roof acts as my visor, no need for them haha.

I have clear tinted ones. Don't look as good as the original type, but do a much better job at shielding your eyes whilst still allowing you to see the road.

Mine did this but solved with new pins both sides, now they are very rigid. Good shout to remove them though, generally the windscreen is low enough to shield the sun naturally until it sets really low, maybe a screen visor strip  will help - the type that you stick to the top of the screen (I use a duck tape strip on my shoei lid which is sort of like what I mentioned)
