My 2007 Mini One, recently started to loose power, shortly after this the engine management light came on. This was diagnosed at mini where it pointed to the rear oxygen sensor. This along with my spark plugs have been replaced, however the loss of power is still happening. Has anyone else experienced loss of power when accelerating?

Thanks

Jess

What is the mielage on the vehicle. I assume this is a 1.4 and not a 1.6 R56 model?

Sounds like a sensor or electrical problem. Has the car had a compression test? Is there mayonnaisy colour on the oil filler cap? That will rule out head gasket.

This forum is more dedicated to classic minis, although some of our members do have BMW Minis, you may find a better answer on a dedicated forum such as www.mini2.com

Sounds like a sensor to me. If it has had a OBD test which is showing the O2 sensor, that's what the fault will be.
