Found some surface cracks round the oil seal ring doesn't look like they have gone through

Can I get some type of aluminium sealant to help it from going further or is this a dead weight?????

Dead weight pal

 

never put anything that should not be there in an engine

if it comes off the engine will be toast.

Cool Good job I stopped cleaning it up as like you said its a dead weight there's no need to carry on
