Currently i have a 3" twin center exit DTM, which there are a few problems with having, one is the loss in power (although this doesn't bother me too much) and the noise is horrific 10000000 times worse then i ever expected it to be...

So I'm looking for a quieter exhaust, possibly i center exit still, but i was thinking an 1 3/4 RC40, but people have also mentioned maniflow

I just wondered what would be the best, performance will be an issue too with this one, as I'm looking to tune the mpi with a 1380 etc etc

cheers

Ryan

I've got a single box side exit 1 7/8 diameter maniflow system from the cat back on my spi and the quality is brilliant, definitely worth the money

Do they? How loud?! I'm not too worried about some noise, it's a mini after all, mine currently is just horrific

Enough to annoy me. It was the low deep drone between 3 - 3.5k , cruising speed that led give maniflow a go, better but not perfect.

Noticed this thread and wondered for those with maniflow cat back systems where did you get them as im having trouble finding a single box cat back system anywhere, ive found twin box systems of maniflow but want a single box so the only option i could think of was to buy the twin box then get a replacement connection pipe for cat to backbox without a box in. anyone able to help ?? My car is a standard 2000 sport with standard 1.75 diameter pipe i do however have a stage 2 maniflow lcb to be fitted. Pete

Phone Maniflow, tell them what you want and I'm sure they'll accommodate you.
