Hi Guys as Suggested elsewhere,
I have searched the forums for the SPI carb conversion and it answers some of my questions.
I was considering it at one point for the following reasons, that just by looking at the fumes coming out of the exhaust i guess it wont pass the MOT (dark smoke on start up)
My Cooper is a June 92 version fitted with a CAT, but it wasn't compulsory till the August of that year, so i could technically take it off.
My question is, if i stay with the injection system and fit a brand new CAT, will that aid/improve the emissions.
I also have a spare injection/throttle body with known working sensors, so i suppose it will be a good idea to fit that aswell.
Any views guys?
