Su's have yo be stock as does the manifold. Racing regs.

So no mods? :o Not even like thinning the throttle plate etc? :P

 

I've got hs2 carbs in my garage now, don't have any other carbs , and I will have a 1330 engien with a 288° camshaft in it in a few weeks.. If you have any advice I'd be happy to hear it!! ;)

I find as the engine size gets bigger than 1293cc it is much harder to keep the hs2's fueling properly because the signal strength from the engine is getting too strong for that size of carb. Basically it causes it to go too rich during acceleration. Not a prob lem for a low mileage race engine. For a road car I would use a pair of HS4's or a big sinle HIF44.
