Whilst no expert, I would suggest that even a single webber is too much for a 998, unless it is in a ridiculous state of tune !

well dont no much about the engine but will have to get an expert to look at it all tho it does seem prety quick for a 998 but then again it is the first mini i have ever owned so will get back to ya on that one

Depends what you mean by single webber, as most webbers are twin choke...
like a dcoe40 ?

Ooo, its one of those limited edition Mk 1's that hover!! their special!!
dcoe40... spose you could run it as a single split, but the benefits over an HIF would be neglegable.... I s'pose it's what you are use too, and being a ford man, webbers come naturally..
You don't happen to have a 45 kicking around on the off chance ?? need one for my 1/4 miler. cheeky eh !
yes i have 4 45s in me lock up but am in proses of cleaning them up and service kit them and then im gonna stick them on ebay

No need! Stick 'em on here for a reasonable wedge and people will snap your hand off to get em!

Not me though! I'll be going a completely different way! But as I say, some people will definately go for them (and save you listing fees and the "lottery" that is ebay!)
