hi all,just a quickie.i hope.ive got an alloy inlet manifold with the four bolts to hold the carb,its 1 3/4,now i have also got an 1 1/2 hs4 su carb,will it fit,thats the question,the two hole centers i need fit great but will it work or do i need a different manifold,

also im bench testing my engine so need to know if theres a way to get the carb set somewhere near or will it be trial and error.

It should fit - just remove the 2 unwanted studs and fit with the correct gaskets. 

Not entirely sure, but I think you can get a baseline setup for the hs4 by winding the jet fully in, then back out 2 turns (12 flats)

Yes it will work. Quite a few Metros from the factory used a 1.5 inch carb on the larger 1.75 inlet manifold.
