After a bit of research I ordered a ported and polished head from Turbo Phil.

I considered loads of options including having a go myself, but after considering the cost of buying valves, having seats reground, head skimmed, etc it just wasn't worth it.

The head is amazing, really beautiful!

I've got 3 pages of PMs with Phil with loads of fantastic advice getting my spec spot on.

I'd arranged to collect this weekend, and Phil was on perfectly on time!

I'll get some pics up of the ports etc soon.

Can't wait to get it on the car!

Are the prices on the turbo-mini website on an exchange basis? He's certainly cheaper than any others I've seen!

I cant wait to get my order in, I've been meaning to remove my head so as to work out the correct figures for him for the past 2 weeks but I just haven't had the time, No soon as this fine weather spell passes thou its coming off,

I did quite a bit of reading up too and I read loads of fantastic feedback from some of his previous customers.

Seems he is very very good at what he does.

Very helpful chap

If the wife hadn't been sat in the car at 8pm I could've been there for hours talking to him! Proper bloke!

He was also recommended to me by Cooperman!

Inlet ports aren't massive due to the spec I'm going for, I want something with reasonable road manners
