Fantastic build! I love seeing when a car turns from a beat up and tired piece of metal into a fine work of art! Great work.

Have you ordered that flywheel assembly yet?
Going to order one this week.
Been busy trying to fix a speedo problem. Got a new speedo which worked for awhile then the speedo pinion started slipping.
New pinion fitted and now the cable snapped. Its a newish cable. Think the problem with the cable is because it has to bend too sharply because of the Itg filter.
Have seen some 90 degree adaptors online but they are not cheap

What do it cost? Would you have been better off running a clubman/longer cable to route around your filter?
$50 shipped from USA
My filter is hard back against the hole in bulkhead so the cable can't go down
It has to bend straight out of the back of the centre speedo to clear and this is where it's snapping because the radius is too tight

Fitted the 90 degree speedo adaptor. Plenty of clearance now so no more snapped cables
Have fitted the MED flywheel. This has made a huge difference to my engine. It revs so freely and smooth compared to the stock standard one which it replaced. I was a bit worried what it would be like after searching on here and reading everyone's views. All I can say is that with my setup it made a huge improvement with no downsides. Still idles fine.
Also had to fit a Med sticker haha
And now that the running in has been completed I had to raise the rev limiter.
Now I just need some time to go and play haha

Also be nice to know what sort of torque and power its producing.
In other news I polished up the dashpot
Also got a few parts for my birthday
Got them all fitted up today
Today I also raised the rear ride height by 15mm and stiffened both front and back shocks. Was a bit low and was rubbing badly in the rear with no passengers haha.

That's a beautiful engine and engine bay. Love the thermostat cover and that machined engine steady.

Ive managed to find a 90 degree speedo adaptor on ebay. Nos Smiths for a good price so that will solve the speedo cable problem
Hi, you got a link for this? I'm looking for the same.
Cheers
