Looking good, what size engine is it dude? Do you have any pics of the sub frame and the mods needed to mount the engine?

Excellent

Those pics are helpful the question I am stuck with on mine is the ground clearance do your subframes stick down fairly close to the ground?

Is that why you have modified the support going under the sump?

Thanks

I have plenty of clearance :) doesn't bottom out at all on our lane and it's such a state!
Just measured (from tie rod bolt hole to lowest point (sump of mini/rails of micra subframe) against a standard mini. The micra has about 20 mm less ground clearance than the normal mini.
But...the lowest point on the normal mini is the sump which wouldn't be good to whack into the ground, the micra mini's lowest point is the subframe rails. I'd much rather dig up some tarmac with some beefy subframe rails than with my sump...

By the way the paint that's scraped off the subframe rails isn't from bottoming out haha....its from dragging the subframe/engine under the mini to fit!!!

Man the more I see on this the more im liking it. Did you buy the subframe or make it? I would really like to see more of the build.

Got a million questions now...

has there been any bulkhead modifications?

How are the drive shafts connected, assuming its all mini stopping gear hubs, caliper etc?

Are you using any Nissan ecu stuff?

And on and on and on... lol

Like

Are there any tuning possibilities with the engine?

And on and on LOL!

Seriously though I am very tempted with this and im at a stage in my SPI rebuild where I can make changes easily enough...

As said check out the build section. As for tunning there's plenty of options the Micra are pretty competitive in the rally world so there's an aftermarket for tunning bits.
