Yep, got it finished and on the road, but the gear ratios were no good (due to the size of mini wheels compared to the Honda's).

Went to watsons for a 3.4 final drive for the gearbox, but when stripped it was the wrong type. So still waiting on the correct one. :(

Here's a finished pic, how it looked before I stripped it again...

Looks great! Congratulations! Love the colour. Bet it looks amazing in the sun. How is it to drive?

Am I right in thinking that some people fit the diesel gearbox because the ratios are better suited to the smaller wheels? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Most of the people go with the 13'' deep dish wheels but iam really glad you went with the 12'' as it gives that really nice stance look. Awesome work, get a on board video on here when you get the final drive in  :shades:

Funny story, seen this car today it seemed to be going quite well but the subaru impreza that was in front wasn't half pulling a gap. Anyway I have always been a fan of the classic mini and seeing this thing go led me into looking at engine conversions and bam here it is :)
Nice build and don't worry too much about the ricer lol..

Was indeed me. Don't know what power the scoobie was running but I kept running out of gears.

Still running the standard final drive, got sick of waiting for watsons. So put it back together standard for the summer.

Well I don't think the Scooby was running standard power as it passed me there was a massive amount of turbo chatter a big puff of smoke and it was gone lol. Then I seen you and thought damn I would love a little mini like that it's totally beautiful and a credit to you Dave.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll have to get a video made and posted. Hopefully doing a few track days this summer so will get some footage then.

For now, here's a finished pic.
