I use all my own gear at home to work on my cars, only time i take my car into work is to paint in the booth. Or powdercoating 

  

Must be good having access to powdercoating gear My subframe's with the powdercoaters at the moment, should be ready to collect actually!

Looking ace, nice colour to, can't wait to see it finished, and all the videos you will make ;)

Haven't posted any updates for a while because I've been cracking on with the build...

Won't be too long hopefully. Should have the engine and subframe in and piped up over the weekend.

Major update time, as the biggest hurdle is out the way!

First up got the engine and subframe bolted up in place, lined up the mounts and tightened it all in position.



Spent a day on the wiring, most of it's connected, just needs tidying up and a few final connections.





Then got the gear linkage finished.





Mounted the exhaust... really hard to get a pic of for some reason



Fitted the swirl pot, fuel pumps and lines into the boot.



Which left the major question, would it RUN??? I ran out of fuel hose and clips for the last bit of the return pipe, but I temporarily bodged it just to test it

Hopefully all down hill from here. Very happy.

That is awesome!!! I have always fancied doing something like this, I would love to come see this soon before its fully finished to see how you have done it all.

I'm working next weekend would the one after that be ok ? The wiring is where i will struggle the most, be good to get some photos to use as a referance for the future.

Yea that should be ok. The wiring is the worst part of the whole thing do far, but sorted now.
