Hi guys im currently building up a turbo engine and need abit of advise on what cam shaft to run. the engine spec is a+ block, 1293, omega cast pistons with the 10cc dish, balanced lightened a+ rods , arp rod bolts, 6581 crank ,lightened flywheel, rts clutch, steel center strap, turbo oil pump, opened up cylinder head, bronze guides, 36 inlet 32 exhaust, double springs, standard t3 turbo, big bore down pipe, motorbike can, pajero intercooler, and megajolt ignition. med 1.5 roller rockers, i plan on running about 12-15 psi boost, and the car will be used just for shows, club meets and track days. i have the choice of either a mg metro cam, kent 800 cam or standard.. your advise will be greatly appreciated

dont have a phase 2 buddy and aint buying another cam, especially when the mg cam is good for 150 ponys :)

The metro unit is know to give good results.

I've heard the MG Metro cam produces very good results when dealing with forced induction.

Its a fact that the ph2 works very well. Have tried this along with a sw5, its day and night. ...

well the MG cam is better than the standard one,

 

the KC800 could be interesting, it dosent have the longer exhaust duration that a turbo likes, but it is on a 110 LCA which is good for turbo's.

 

the main thing I would be looking at is which cam is in best condition.
