i have had trouble with MWS rims too, and as tamworthbay said, so have plenty other people!

as for these wheels, i do quite like them actually, not to the point that i would pick them myself, but they are kinda cool.

oh and comparing them to dunlop D1s? dare i say it, i have never liked D1s! i think they look like they are on the wrong way round, i had some vauxhall wheels years ago that looked like D1s when you took them off and looked in the back lol

I like them, and to be honest I've had nothing but good service from MWS.  They sell cheap wheels, that's their market if you want expensive stuff go elsewhere..

Can't comment on MWS as never used them, but I love these wheels and plan to use them on my completed Elf.  Saw them on the Cooper S pictured above at the NEC and fell in love.

I think these wheels are a good looking wheel. They also have the correct offset so that you can fit them with Cooper S 7.5" discs with no need for arches.

Here's an Elf I spotted at the 2013 Pride of Longbridge fitted with on of the first sets of MWS Mini BRM wheels that they supplied.

And here's another Fiesta Yellow S with Speedwell Wheels

That elf is stunning. i think the wheels really go well with the classical look, opposed to the more 'stancy' and modified styles.

Little bit of a thread revival, but... does anyone know if the BRM wheels supplied by Huddersfield Spares (http://www.minispare...r-classic-mini/) the same as those produced by Midland wheels? (I mean do MWS produce them and Huddersfield Spares sell them on?)

I'm looking at dropping my 12's for a set of 10's & fancy these BRM style wheels. But I'm not keen on what I've heard about Midland wheels products/customer service.

I believe the wheels that Huddersfield sell are manufactured by midland wheels.

I think they're absolutely gorgeous  But I really dont like D1's  :teehee:

I've had two sets of JBW wheels, and would happily buy another set...  For the price you can't expect high quality lacquer.

I love the Speedwell wheels, I'm going for either them or Rose Petals when it comes to going down to 10's. A mate of mine has a mini parts galore, including some rare wheels, one set of them being original Speedwells.
