That is expensive you can buy pretty much any old number from DVLC from £150 up.
All the plates start @ £250? (I may be looking at the wrong site though) and they are for prefix plates not suffix?
You can buy personal plates from £30 from some website (can't remember it at the moment), obviously this is before transfer charges.
