Delighted. Haven't got a digicamera but I know a man who has and should be able to ask him this Sat if you let me know which bits to highlight

Cheers teapot, i need to know how the rear corners of the load bed go toether really. The load bed floor, quarter panel and valance all go together but i have no idea how (mine simply rusted to nothing). If i could have a picture of that rear corner from above and below im sure ill be able to get it back together right.
Ive also got a question about how your rear light panels look, are they curved as you look side on with the tailgate open? I think they should be straight and mine has just had something heavy put on an open tailgate but again i dont have a refference.

thanks for the help

Chris

Pretty sure mine are straight but I'll check it out with everything else on Sat (replacing shocks with Gaz adjustables) (must remember to order tomorrow from Huddersfield Spares).

Hueys birthdays come early!

Hmmm, thanks for the reminder Chris ... I think Huey did first appear about this time three years ago, but not in his present form. Five minutes into his maiden voyage he was rammed by a transit van, I believe, and his maker, Graham, was so choked he gave up. Huey was rebuilt by John Dunn of Autorite (local mini specialist) with his present 1380 engine, stripped and restored, instead of the 1275 unit. Must get a birthday cake!

Pickup, have a look at this and see if it helps. Loads of good quality pics

Blimey! Looks like I won't have to bother with the digicamera!

It's all still looking really fantastic Pickup!

I did think about the aperture in the rear bulkhead being for the rotiserie, but it's not in line with the hole in the front bulkhead. It's too low and off to one side! There is a rear bulkhead rotiserie fitting listed for the pickup, I'll have a look at that and see if it would fit into the rectangular hole.

Well that pretty much covers bigbadbob cheers. I really can see how bent my rear panels are now when looking at that. The seller is lying though it definatly isnt a 1970 shell almost cirtainly a post 78....o well its totally mint!
Could still do with some pictures looking up under the rear coners, thanks Teapot.
Thought about the whole rotisary thing or maybe a hook but its not on the balance point of the car or in the center so i dont know how it could.

Well im still hard at it (ie i have no social life) and im on a bit of a roll. Finished off the bulkhead seam and cleaned that whole area up, rolled the car back over to put the outer cills on, made the drain pipes for in the cills (out of galvinised, try rusting out now!) and have made a start on the rear which looks horriable at the moment but at least i know how its supposed to look after Teapot help with the pics. Cheer mate!
Anyway heres whats next;
