They stopped making them in 83 or 84 i think miniman5. They never changed to the mk3 style so they all have short doors sliding windows and external hinges. You can fit buckets in them but you cant move them back as the bulkhead is in the way, its ok if you are small like me though (5'6")
ok iv finished the bulkhead and started on the crossmember heres some pictures;

It was driven into some rollers in a field by the last owner which hit the front passenger side just above the bumper on the wing/front panel seam. This pushed the front panel in, with the wing and inner wing as well.
So the whole front of the car is bent completely but the subframe is still square.
So whats the best way to tackle this? Should i replace the front piece by piece from the a panel round or is it possiable to get it square when the whole front is removed first?
What do you recon?
