Thats really coming along mate. Its looking good. I wish I had a garage to do this kind of thing as I like a challenge.

Hacked all the rear valance and load bed lip off earlier. Looks so much better now and it didnt reveal as many holes as i expected... thats a change!

Prepped the rear section of the load bed for panels and welded the hinge brackets on, then tryed to line all the panels up. Big mistake!! as usuall BMH panels are complete C**p and dont even line up with each other let alone the car. The valance corner panels are so bad in gona have to add metal in some places to get them right :) Anyway it should all work in the end.

looking good keep it up.... yeah you have to get use to panels not fitting. Like you said just make em work. I'm starting to work on my bosses brother inlaws late 70's Datsun next week at work.... It'll be sweet.

late 70's sounds likeit might be a 280Z or might be a late registard 260Z

I think it's a 280Z but not 100% on that.... will find out though. We're doing the body and respraying it. It needs afair bit of work but nothing too extreme. I might try to get pics up if i remember.... will be a week or so if i do.

Got most of the rear valance on now, after some serious modification to make it fit! Gona start on the rear light panels tomorrow and after that its the nearside wheel arch and im just about done!! :grin:
