Hi all can anyone recommend a good boot seal that's WORKS

  The body mounted one is best.  If it's fitted right, I did see someone manage to fit one upside down before.

I changed mine to a body mounted seal and found the fit for me to be a lot better ;-)

Body mounted seal! I recently changed mine as the old one was knackered. I got it from minispares and its as snug as a bug :)

Body mounted seal again! Mine is still bedding in after a year of being fitted but is leak proof :)

If you do decide to replace with a body mounted seal you may find that your boot will be quite hard to close as I did, But this soon passes with time and you end up with a nice snug fit ;-)

It may not be the seal boot lid may have a stist in it..........but body mounted seal is better........but you will have to seal all the holes arround boot lid if yours was a lod mounted seal with clips........ :proud:

Yes, I have found that the body mounted one does still feel quite stiff. Even the original one on my '93 takes some force to close the boot lid. Better than it being too loose though,

There is a flap piece that sticks out Does this go around the the door or does it go inside the door when closed
