Speak to Style to Design.  IMO they make are the best re-trimmed original Mini seats available and they will fit straight in.  They have tooled up to have their own design of seat foams moulded, the only thing I would change about mine is the thickness of the rear bench cushion, it's very high.  The only seats that will fit straight in without work are those designed to fit, so original seats or aftermarket seats with Mini subframes.  Seats from any other car that you just find, including an MGB, will need some sort of work to fit them.  Where they are normal aftermarket seats made to fit another model, such as the many Recaros found in high spec models, new frames may be available that will allow the swap.  But in the case of anything like the MGB seats you linked above there will be work needed because they aren't designed to fit or to be interchangeable.

Do they supply new frames etc or do you have to give them those? I have my original seats and I have material to cover in the original pin stripe for the GT but I intend to put some serious mileage on the car so hoping for more of a modern but appropriate seat?

They have a stock of frames and you give yours in exchange.  They refurb the frames before assembly so you get seats in good as new condition.  They do tend to put a bit too much paint on the back rest lock so it is a bit reluctant to latch without assistance, but if you work it in and out a few times it soon wears the paint off the teeth inside.

If your after late mini seats and dont want to pay silly money its worth looking out for 3 door metro/rover 100s that are being broken for spares. The seats are are pretty much the same as the late rover mini seats and can be made to fit a mini quite easy.
Really comfortable and look right - not too big and you can still get in the back. Black ones are hard to find now though, most are grey. G

I love my Recaros in my integra.  Comfy (even on a long run), recliners and can be found in LOADs of performance Japanese cars with various patterns/material finishes. Integras had them in Black, Red or Yellow.  Half fabric/alcantara too.  Ones from a DC2 like mine will cost about £3-400.

Never knew they had yellow ones. I've got red ones in my ek9

The Newon and Commercial Service does the cost of refurb include covers and foams per seat or is this just for stripping? Seems a liitle excessive:

MG ZR seats are extremely comfortable and supportive. They are cheap as well. I paid £60 for some half leather ones in excellent condition.

Will get some photos up when I've cleaned them.
