Also is anyone running one of these with 13" wheels, a 1300 gearbox and 1:1 drop gears, if so what is it like?
Thanks
Joe

You'll find it a failry short diff, and not one for motoryqay cruising, you'll be doing about 4.3krpm @ 70

the 3.65 was limited to the cooper S, 1275 GT and I believe some allegros

I've selected it using the gear calculator, I will only be using my mini on track after a successful first outing today. The 3.1 it has for road use is now no longer suitable!
Are these rare then?

The alternative is a 3.77 which is slightly more common, but again is rather short.

3.65's, 3.44's and 3.7's fairly common and easy to get hold of. Its the later A+ final drives in lower ratios that are harder to find. I have a stack of 3.1:1's if you want to buy or swap for a 2.95:1.
i have one and am in east sussex.....
