Mini Moke from the cover of the BBC TV childrens programme - Blue Peter Annual 1967

 

 

Those old enough to remember (like me) will probably know the names of all the presenters and their dogs (and if you look closely the cat) !

Peter Purvis, John Noakes and Valerie Singleton. Animals not so sure although was then a bit too early for Shep??

Petra was Peter Purves' dog.

The Siamese cat was Jason......I thought the other dog was Shep (owned by John Noakes) but you may be right that he came along later?

I know Fred the Blue Peter tortoise (not in photo !) was later found to be a female and re-named Freda !

Yes......now I remember it was Patch before Shep!.
