Pity, it looks really nice archless. Are they body colour?

There not no, just plain black at the moment. I may have them painted at a later date though, will have to see whether or not I like them when there on and go from there.

I'll certainly help in the decision making process ;D

Cheers mate,

I played around with a few colours before I settled on red with the black roof, It's also the colour mine left the factory with.

Update,

Only a small one, after searching for ages I managed to find some of the moulded factory sound deadening that's fitted to the front bulkhead and floor pan from a member on here. I received it today, here it is -

9a692a2d1a73a8e5a5d393bfe1f09f18_zpsbc42

It's in pretty good condition considering its 20+ years old so I'm happy with it.

Anyway, there was a brake in the weather earliyer and the sun came out for an hour, so I cleaned it up and got it fitted into the Mini -

It should help keep the noise down inside the cabin, plus it's nice to fit something original from the factory back into the car.

Update,

Haven't updated in a while as I've been saving for Bingley, so haven't really bought anything substantial. I have bought a few small bits and pieces though, and I've also collected a few bits I sent to the powder coaters last week.

Here's what I've bought, a few stainless nuts and bolts, assorted pack of automotive grommets, and a few other things -

9cd1d0ba25af2254b6c908fa5e2b0363_zps6f42

Took a bit of inspiration from Pete's thread and bought these to secure my loom where needs be -

Bits from the powder coaters -

Really happy with the tank, I'll be purchasing the POR15 cleaner/sealer kit for it also -

bd7fef1f04c777ab3552f62ab5f89388_zpsaf91

Went for the same colour I had my wheels done in for my rocker cover -

97b96dd88f988137f5c6aa0693fe5853_zps6d5d

Now onto today's work, got the battery cable secured to the subframes with some stainless p clips -

ffc50746db489f2efb25adbb40c3c62e_zps4667

Then got the rocket cover fitted -

b11d51a1da8d2359ebbe6637c78e661a_zps376b

I think it looks excellent and finishes off the engine great. Next up was to fit the cowling onto the rad, couldn't get hold of the bolts I needed today and the originals don't don't fit as there UNF and I need UNC as the rads aluminium.

So I've secured it with some longer temporary bolts we had lying around, I've got some stainless ones on the way so will swap them over when they arrive. Here's it is along with a stainless rad bracket from Smiffy's -

f8e0f82c8c709455967270e79b5969ff_zps4ca6

And fitted onto the car with the silicone hoses -

2f7604164609340c0a22210d75d07f24_zps63aa

It will have to come out again as I've still got to fit the crank pulley and what not but I'll worry about that at a later date.

Thats all I can really get done now until I go to Bingley and pick up the other bits I need, but I'll post some pictures of the stuff I pick up tomorrow !

Great choice in colour for the rocker cover  :-) Those stainless parts really do look classy.

Cheers Jared, I've got a lot of gloss black bits around the engine, so I thought it would make a nice contrast.
