What time did you got to Minispares?

I think I've been paying one of the guys wages consistently for the past year, they always look happy to see me , they'll miss me when I'm finished ! (probably not).

Update,

Well, I decided to take a much needed break from the Mini over Christmas, and apart from my gazebo collapsing due to the snow, it's been great !

I've been back at it today though, here's what I've got done.

Started off by screwing the stainless manifold studs into the cylinder head, and fitting a new gasket -



Then fitted the manifold and y-piece -



Next to go on was the inlet manifold -



I stripped down my carb, cleaned the lnternals and put it back together again. I've also polished up the dash pot a bit, didn't go too mad with it though as I like the look of the aged aluminium -



And got that fitted along with the accelerator cable -



Still need to get the thick manifold washers and a few other things to finish that area off.

Next job was to fit the link pipe and back box, here's a few pictures of the finished thing -







That's it for today, I've got a few things to sort out for the next trip to the powder coaters so I may do that tomorrow.

I've got some standard arches I'll be fitting, however looking at the car now I would've liked to run archless with just the chrome strip over the seams. Unfortunately I already drilled the holes before it was painted so I've not got much choice about it.
